The Eclipse high-intensity chute separator is designed for demanding conditions where contaminants are relatively large, such as nuts and bolts.
The unit consists of two magnet packs joined by a hinge and fixed in a housing with an adjustable hinge and tri-lobe locking nuts. These nuts ensure equal pressure around the food-grade seal.
The chute magnet can be fitted into any vertical or angled pipe or chute section. It is usually installed at raw-material intake points for cereals, rice, maize, animal feed and similar products. A central deflector at the inlet directs the product towards the magnetic face for maximum contaminant removal.
All powders and dry granular materials can be processed through the unit. Safety sensors can be built into the magnet packs to stop the process if the unit is opened accidentally.
