Zone 2 hazardous area lighting products are manufactured in the UK by Raytec and are ATEX and IEC Ex approved and supplied with a 5 year warranty – a full family of ATEX lighting products includes SPARTAN Flood, Linear, Bulkhead, High Bay and Crane Floodlights for Zone 2.

LED floodlights provide high performance, high specification, hazardous area lighting delivering world class leading performance and reliability and compliance with international classifications including ATEX and IEC Ex.

Design

The lighting design service will provide recommendations on the product type and number of lights required including the average, maximum and minimum light levels that can be achieved in accordance with ATEX and IEC Ex compliance.

Additional Features

LED Lighting – Zone 2 SPARTAN Floodlights use CoolExtrude thermal management technology, ensuring a much cooler LED operating temperature. This provides up to 60% better heat dissipation compared to traditional lighting solutions and allows the floodlight product to operate for 10+ years in the most challenging environments.

Emergency Back-Up Lighting – SPARTAN Floodlights for Zone 2 hazardous area are available as a high performance emergency variant, using an additional battery back-up module which can deliver up to 100% light output under emergency conditions. All SPARTAN Flood emergency units come with intelligent battery management to proactively monitor and maintain the overall health of the floodlight.

Flexible Installation & Easy Maintenance – the modular design allows great flexibility: the entire PSU chassis can be removed and located remotely at ground level for areas with difficult access. Additionally the individual PSU modules can be easily accessed and replaced making servicing and inspection of all key components within the Zone 2 floodlight quicker and easier.

SPARTAN High Power Floodlights are designed for Zone 2 hazardous area environments which require high performance, high reliability and brilliant White-Light illumination.

The High Power Floodlight has been designed by Raytec to light up large and open areas and is supplied with an integral dedicated bracket allowing the beam angle of light to be tilted and easily targeted into the required space.
