FIDR-LID insulated lids prevent heat loss through the top of the ATEX drum heater enclosure and the heated drum to increase the heater efficiency. Isopad’s FIDR drum heater enclosures are designed to provide medium flow and process temperature to 200 litre steel drums in Zone 1 and Zone 2 hazardous areas and are constructed from heavy gauge sheet steel with a double skin construction housing the electric heating elements which cover the entire inner surface ensuring the drum is heated consistently.
Thermocoax Isopad FIDR drum heater enclosures are ATEX and IECEx approved for use within Zone 1 and Zone 2 hazardous area applications and are equipped with a -4ºC to +163ºC mechanical thermostat as standard.
