The Inteliheat IHF/A ATEX drum heater jacket is ideal for drum heating applications within Zone 1 & Zone 2 hazardous area applications for plastic or steel 25 litre drums.
The Inteliheat IHF/A heater jacket is constructed from silicone coated glass cloth with a high density fibreglass insulation with a heating element within the jacket.
The ATEX drum heater jacket ensures safe operating conditions are maintained even in the presence of potentially explosive gases and no transformers are required as the Inteliheat IHF/A operates using standard AC supply voltages up to 240V.
The Inteliheat IHF/A drum heating jackets have a self limiting temperature of around 40ºC above the ambient temperature will be maintained on the drum wall when operated at 240V. If lower temperature are required the ATEX drum heater jacket can be fitted with a 0-50ºC thermostat which can be adjusted whilst the jacket is within a non hazardous area.
