The BELFI loading filter provides direct dedusting and dust return when loading silo trucks and containers with a Stanelle loading spout. Its compact shape also allows dedusting of air slides, enclosed belt conveyors, and silos or hoppers filled without pressure. With a high-quality coating or in stainless steel, it can be used in almost any sector. Particular attention has been paid to returning the filter dust fully into the silo vehicle.
Dust is separated by filter elements that are cleaned one after another by short pulses of compressed air from a pressure accumulator via special valves. A pressure regulator with a fine filter upstream of the accumulator, in the clean-air compartment, allows the cleaning pressure to be set at 3–4 bar. Dust is extracted by a fan that can be mounted in several ways.
The BELFI has a vacuum relief flap in the clean-gas compartment that prevents vacuum above 5 mbar and protects the bellows from damage. The optional filter controller provides easily adjustable cartridge cleaning and can clean the cartridges at short intervals after loading ends.
