Product Overview

Petrel hazardous area enclosures, motor starters and isolators are certified by ATEX and IECEx for safe use in potentially explosive atmospheres and hazardous area locations Zone 1 & Zone 2.

Flameproof Ex d enclosures are suitable for Group II Category 2 GD – heavy duty cast iron or aluminium enclosures are available with various power ratings and T class ratings (T4, T5, T6). ATEX Zone 1 (Category 2) Ex d enclosures house hazardous area control equipment, switches, motor starters and process controls.
