The Heatfast Side Drum Heating Jacket HF5-C is a proven and widely adopted drum heater designed to deliver controlled, uniform surface heating to plastic and steel drums across a broad range of industrial processes. Manufactured by Heatfast, the HF5-C range is engineered for gradual and efficient drum heating, making it particularly effective for reducing viscosity, maintaining product temperature and providing reliable frost protection for materials stored in standard drum sizes from 25 litres up to 200–210 litres.

Designed primarily as a side drum heating jacket, the HF5-C utilises a high-quality insulated construction to apply consistent heat evenly around the barrel wall, helping to protect product integrity while minimising energy loss. With selectable 0–40°C or 0–90°C adjustable thermostat control and power outputs up to 1200W, HF5-C drum heaters are ideally suited to warming oils, fats, resins, varnishes, foodstuffs and other temperature-sensitive substances that require gentle, controlled heating rather than aggressive heat-up.

Adjustable quick-release buckles ensure fast, secure installation, while the compact, flexible design allows the barrel heater to be used independently or alongside compatible base drum heaters to significantly reduce overall heat-up time when required, as well as a higher powered alternative HF5-D Drum Heater.
