Zone 1 & Zone 2 Air Warmers for Hazardous Area Heating

EXHEAT FWDT-750-T4 flameproof air warmers provide hazardous area certified heating and air warming for Zone 1, Zone 2 (Flammable Gas) Zone 21 and Zone 22 (Dust) hazardous areas and explosive atmospheres according to ATEX Directive.

The EXHEAT FWDT range has an easy to adjust external thermostat and is designed to provide an air warming solution for small work or storage areas and can be provided with temperature ratings of T2, T3 and T4 (T Classes) – suitable for ambient temperatures from -60ºC to +60ºC.

EXHEAT FWDT flameproof air warmers are certified to meet ATEX equipment directive and IECEx standards and are suitable for wall or floor mounting.

The Ex d flameproof method of explosion protection also prevents the hazardous atmosphere from entering the enclosure and coming into contact with equipment.

• Certified to ATEX, IECEx, CU TR (EAC) and KGS hazardous area classifications
• Fabricated carbon steel enclosure weatherproof to IP66
• Temperature classes T2, T3 and T4 available
• Heater suitable for horizontal floor or wall mounting
• 2 × 20mm (plugged) cable entries provided as standard
• Corrosion resistant powder coated finish
• T3 / T4 Class heaters suitable for ambient temperatures from 60°C to +40°C and T2 units to +60°C
• Individual heating elements can be replaced
