Level Sensor VEGA VEGAPULS 65

VEGA VEGAPULS 65 radar level sensor provides continuous level measurement of liquids despite foam under simple process conditions, including those within vessels with small process fittings providing exact measuring results independant of process conditions.

The VEGAPULS 65 has a slim rod antenna and a maintenance free operation.

VEGA level sensors are suitable for use in hazardous areas and their instruments also have various ship approvals such as e.g. DNV, GL, LRS or ABS.

Function

Extremely short microwave pulses are emitted by the antenna system in the direction of the measured product, reflected by the product surface and received back again by the antenna system.

The time from emission to reception of the signals is proportional to the level in the vessel. A special time stretching procedure allows reliable and precise measurement of the extremely short signal running times.
