Abtech HVJB84 high voltage hazardous area electrical enclosures and junction boxes provide safe power distribution for 11kV systems up to 1000sqmm cables offering flexibility over the choice of cables, entries and cable terminations – ATEX certified for Zone 1 and Zone 2 locations and connection of HV cables in hazardous area locations.

Enclosure Application

Abtech HVJB84 high voltage enclosures are suitable for both industrial and hazardous areas.

Protection Degree IP66 or IP67.

Junction Box Specification

* (x‐x) demotes the number of connectors per phase, 1st position = top, 2nd position = bottom. For example: HVJB73(2‐1) = 2 x conductors per phase top entry and 1 x conductor per phase bottom entry. ** Power rating is determined by ambient temp range: ‐20 to +400C / ‐50 to +550C respectively. The higher power rating can also be achieved if the enclosure is marked Ex e IIC T1500C Gb. *** For cables greater then 300mm2, it is advisable to use the HVJB8 size enclosure.
