Housed easy-clean magnetic grates provide an unmatched level of contaminant removal. They are so effective that they remove ferrous and paramagnetic contaminants below one micron, even in the most demanding processing environments.

The unit has two high-intensity easy-clean grates, with the tubes of each grate offset for maximum efficiency. The grates are secured in the housing with tri-lobe locking nuts, which ensure equal pressure around the food-grade seal.

Where cleaning time must be minimal, units can be fitted with clamp closures, or with an automatic drive that needs no intervention. They are usually installed at raw-material intakes or after silos, and several units are often placed throughout a process to remove contaminants at source.

All powders and dry granular materials can be processed through the unit. Electrical safety sensors can be fitted to each grate row to stop the process if the unit is opened accidentally.
