FDLED Series Flameproof Linear LED Light Fittings, manufactured by Appleton ATX, provide hazardous area lighting using LED technology and can be installed in hazardous areas designated as Zone 1 and Zone 2 – Zone 21 and Zone 22. The light fittings are ideal for use in hazardous area locations where a high degree of corrosion resistance is required and for indoor or outdoor use where protection against dirt, water, dust and moisture is necessary.
LED light fittings provide energy, maintenance and safety savings where hazardous area locations require a lighting upgrade from conventional fluorescent type lights.
These Zone 1 & 2 (Zone 21 & 22) flameproof LED light fittings provide both standard and emergency lighting in explosive gas and dust atmospheres. The Appleton ATX light fittings are entirely self-contained in a flameproof enclosure, with borosilicate glass for increased explosion protection in hazardous environments – order code FDLED04AD2.
