Product Overview

Howden ‘FH’ stainless steel construction flow heater. Fitted as standard with a GE type immersion heater but with the option of an RE type immersion heater.

Howden ‘FH’ Heaters features

• Flow heater for heating water, oils, caustic (sodium hydroxide) and other chemical
• Range of loadings from 6 kW to 750 kW, three phase. Units can be linked in parallel or series to obtain higher outputs.
• Can be fitted with GE (glanded rod element type) heaters or RE (removable ceramic core type) heaters. Ceramic core elements can be replaced without draining the vessel, minimising down-time and maintenance costs
• Suitable for either stage control or thyristor control
• The shell is insulated with glass fibre insulation protected with a steel casing
