Product Overview
SWECO hydrocyclone systems are an economical, efficient way to remove solid particles from a wide range of waste slurries, in the 4 to 100 micron range. They give a finer separation than screening separators, at much higher flow rates. In many cases they can replace decanter centrifuges, giving similar results at lower cost.
Hydrocyclones are available with an open manifold or a closed vessel. Manifolds (radial or in-line) use cyclones of 50.8, 101.6, 127 or 254 mm diameter, while closed-vessel models use 25.4 or 50.8 mm cyclones. Both configurations handle feed rates from 38 to 11,400 litres per minute, depending on the number and size of hydrocyclones in the system.
