Ecom Smart-Ex 01M has the same features as the intrinsically safe Ecom Smart-Ex 01 ATEX smartphone for hazardous areas and explosive atmospheres. The Ecom Smart-Ex 01M ATEX mobile phone has a powerful battery, it is unlocked for any network and can be used with dirty or wet work gloves.

In addition, the smartphone meets all important global hazardous area and regulatory certifications for mining including IECEx, ATEX, ANZEx and IA. The ATEX mobile phone also provides access to productivity applications and worker safety in hazardous area locations and is part of the Ecom hazardous area mobile communications range.

Ecom Smart-Ex 01M Smartphone

The Smart-Ex 01M is a stand-alone device with its own mining certification. It features an ambient temperature range from 0°C to +50°C it is approved and certified for use in ATEX and IECEx Mining areas.

Ecom Smart-Ex 01M Smartphone is designed to support 21 LTE frequency bands, the Smart-Ex 01M has no SIM lock and can be connected to different networks worldwide. An Android operating system enables the intrinsically safe device to work safely, quickly, and efficiently.

The ergonomic design and intuitive user interface enhance the user experience, and optimised accessories and peripherals ensure total compatibility with current and future Ecom products. With its powerful battery (3600 mAh), longer shifts are possible.

Regular security updates prevent unauthorised access to the smart phone’s confidential, personal and company data. Long term use is provided thanks to the Ecom three year service level agreement.

To ensure unlimited, long-term use of the smartphone, Ecom offers a three-year service level agreement. Pepperl+Fuchs’ global sales and service network provides excellent customer service around the globe. Support from Ecom’s system engineers and development teams is also available when software requirements change.
