40mm pipe diameter float valves have maximum static pressure of 10 bar – maximum flow rate is 3 m/s nominal pipe velocity (contact our team for Keraflo flow rate and pipe velocity charts).
Installation of float valves should be in accordance with the water supply (water fittings) regulations 2010 and BS 8558:2011.
Aylesbury KS type float valves must be attached to vertical NOT sloping walls and are available in a range of sizes to suit pipe diameters 15-50mm. Available in a high flow (HF) version.
Keraflo Aylesbury ‘KS’ type float valves feature a weighted key-shaped float that can be accurately set in a number of positions on the brass float arm. The float actuates the valve at a predetermined difference in water level, driving it fully open or fully closed without water hammer. This positive action avoids dribble, reduces noise and allows full water flow until the selected closed level is reached by the valve.
