Product Overview
Zone 1 & Zone 2 Hazardous Areas
MEDC DB5 are a part of the range of light weight, intrinsically safe ATEX sounders that have been designed with a high weatherproof rating to cope with the harsh environmental conditions found offshore and onshore in the oil, gas and petrochemical industries – in ATEX & IECEx Zone 1 and Zone 2 hazardous areas.
A variety of sounder tones are available for MEDC sounders, with 26 different sound outputs available for the MEDC DB5 – user selectable by internal switches.
The DB5 is constructed from corrosion free ABS which has high tensile strength and is very resistant to physical impacts and chemical corrosion. The Sounder can therefore withstand heavy use and adverse environmental conditions.
