SICK TBT Temperature Measurement Sensors are Pt100 resistance thermometers with a splash resistant die-cast aluminium housing for the temperature measurement in liquid and gases. Suitable for a variety of applications thanks to a wide range of process connections and insertion lengths.
The SICK TBT has various connection threads that are available with or without compression fittings. Wetted parts of the SICK TBT are made from high-grade stainless steel 1.4571. Besides its Pt100 output signal, the TBT is available with an integrated transmitter with output signal 4 mA … 20 mA.
1) Enclosure rating IP per IEC 60529. The enclosure rating classes specified only apply when connected with female connectors that provide the corresponding enclosure rating
SICK TBT Temperature Measurement Sensors enable temperature measurement of liquids and gases in industrial applications.
Various parts of the vacuum degasser and vacuum oxygen degasser must be properly cooled in order to achieve problem-free plant operation. The SICK TBT temperature measurement sensor has a rugged design comprising of high-quality components that aid long-term stability, accuracy and linearity.
Together with the SICK PBT pressure transmitter the TBT can easily be installed offering an accurate cooling system for pressure and temperature monitoring applications.
