The Tab-Ex 05 DZ2 from Pepperl+Fuchs is certified for safe operation in Zone 2 gas and Zone 22 dust hazardous areas. It holds ATEX and IECEx approvals, with Ex ic protection marking for explosive gas and dust atmospheres. The tablet is also approved for North American Division 2 use with SGS certification covering Class I and II Division 2 and Class III Division 1 & 2 hazardous locations.
In addition to explosion protection approvals, the Tab-Ex 05 DZ2 carries KC approval and meets IP68 and MIL-STD-810H standards for rugged durability and environmental protection. Android Enterprise Recommended validation, Google ARCore readiness and Samsung Knox 3.10 security support secure industrial deployment across hazardous area, process, energy and utility environments.
