VEGA VEGABAR 87 hydrostatic level sensor is a submersible pressure transmitter for level measurements of liquids and viscous products with higher temperatures in the chemical and food processing and pharmaceutical industry.

VEGABAR 87 level sensor features maximum reliability even with rapidly changing process temperatures..

VEGABAR 87 features a self-cleaning effect through the front-flushing installation and a high plant availability through maximum overload and vacuum resistance of the ceramic measuring cell.

VEGA VEGABAR 87 submersible pressure transmitter has a robust mechanical configuration of the metallic measuring cell that protects the sensor in the demanding measuring tasks found in different industries including hazardous area level measurement in the oil, gas, chemicals and food processing industries.

VEGA level sensors are suitable for use in hazardous areas and their instruments also have various ship approvals such as e.g. DNV, GL, LRS or ABS.

Measuring Cell Technology

The pressure of the measured medium acts on the pressure measuring cell, converting this pressure into an electronic signal.

The sensor element is the ceramic CERTEC measuring cell with front-flush, abrasion-resistant ceramic diaphragm – the CERTEC measuring cell is equipped with a temperature sensor and the temperature value can be displayed on the VEGA VEGABAR 87 level sensor via the display and adjustment module or processed via the signal output.
