Level Switch VEGA VEGACAP 35

VEGA VEGACAP 35 capacitive level switch provides level measurement for bulk solids in applications such as overfill and dry protection for adhesive, conductive products.

VEGACAP 35 level switch features a shortenable probe that operates in products with dielectric constant from 1.5 and offers high flexibility.

The proven mechanical construction ensures a long life span and minimum maintenance requirements.

The VEGACAP 35 has an exact switching point even with strong buildup.

FunctioN

The two electrodes of the capacitor are formed from the sensor and vessel. A capacitance change caused by a level change is evaluated by the integrated electronics and converted into a switching signal. The capacitive measuring principle doesn’t have any specific requirements with regards to installation and mounting.

Materials

The wetted parts of the instrument are made of stainless steel and the probe insulation of PTFE.

Housings

The level switch housings are available in plastic or aluminium. They are available with protection ratings up to IP 67.

Electronics

VEGA switches are available in different electronics versions. This level switch is available with a relay output (DPDT).
