Pressure Transmitter VEGA VEGABAR 83
Pressure Transmitter VEGA VEGABAR 83
Pressure Measurement for Liquids & Gases
VEGA VEGABAR 83 process pressure measurement transmitter with metallic measuring cell can be used to measure liquids and gases at high pressures.
VEGABAR 83 offers special advantages in applications with high pressures as a result of its metallic measuring cell offering high accuracy even under a vacuum and features:
The pressure transmitter is ideal for level and pressure measurement of liquids and viscous products with high process pressure in all areas of industry and applications including:
VEGABAR 83 process pressure measurement transmitter is available with hazardous area certifications to meet ATEX & IECEX directives for Zone 1 and Zone 2 installations.
ATEX II 1G, 1/2G, 2G Ex ia IIC T6
ATEX II 1G, 1/2G, 2G Ex ia IIC T6 + Ship approval
ATEX II 1/2G, 2G Ex d IIC T6
IEC Ex ia IIC T6
VEGA process pressure measurement transmitters are suitable for use in hazardous areas and their instruments also have various ship approvals e.g according to GL, LRS or ABS.
The main part of the pressure transmitter is the ceramic measuring cell that cleverly transforms the pressure into an electrical signal.
The pressure dependent signal is changed by the integrated electronics into a standard signal output. The sensor element METEC® is used with temperature ranges up to 200 °C and larger process fittings. This element consists of the ceramic-capacitive CERTEC® measuring cell and a special, temperature-compensated chemical seal system.
Available in 316Ti or Alloy C4 (2.4610), the process diaphragm of 316Ti or Elgiloy (2.4711). The process seal is available in FKM, FFKM, EPDM and NBR.
The pressure transmitters housing available in single chamber version in plastic, aluminium and stainless steel. Protection rating IP 68K and external electronics with IP 69K.
