Airlamps for Zone 1, Zone 21, Zone 2, Zone 22 Hazardous Area Lighting
Wolf ATEX Turbolite airlamps provide clear lighting and a suitable alternative solution to mains and low voltage lighting for applications in shotblasting, cleaning and coating of storage tanks, vessels, pipeline and structural engineering activities where there is a substantial risk to the workforce. Airlamps are available in aluminium or brass, nickel plated to prevent corrosion and are supplied with a bridle and safety hook fitted.
Advantages over other models, include sealed bearings, refined regulator, greater use of stainless steel components, bulb-life enhancing device, silencer with a particle trap and the suitability for use in gassy mines.
Wolf ATEX Turbolite airlamps provides reliable and versatile hazardous area lighting according to both ATEX Directive – the torches utilise halogen technology as a light source and are used for safe lighting in hazardous area Zones 1 and Zones 2 (potentially explosive gas) and Zones 21 and Zones 22 dust atmospheres (IIA, IIB & IIC Groups) with T4 temperature classification.
An overview of the Wolf ATEX Turbolite Airlamps range to provide temporary lighting in explosive atmospheres:
The Wolf ATEX Turbolite range are airlamps manufactured by Wolf Safety Lamp to provide lighting in Zone 1, Zone 2, Zone 21 or Zone 22 hazardous areas – the halogen airlamps are for use in potentially explosive atmospheres according to the ATEX Directive.
