ATEX Heating Mantle | Eltherm EL-SHS

The Eltherm Heating Mats & Jackets range includes the Eltherm Heating Mantle EL-SHS , designed heating scenarios where two our more levels of surface heating is required. The metal EL-SHS Heating Mantles are custom-made for industrial use, ensuring optimum heating at ambient temperatures from -25 °C to +55 °C maintaining efficient heat distribution. Additionally, these Eltherm Heating Mantles can be tailored and prepared to be suitable for harsh industrial and hazardous areas, available with ATEX certification.

The Heating Mantle EL-SHS is manufactured for convenience and reliability, equipped with handles used to mount, remove and transport the Heating Mantle halves with ease, as well as highly practical draw latches for reliable latching. Ultimately, these features significantly reduce installation time and maintenance long-term, enhancing cost-efficiency.

• Frost Protection | In outdoor or uninsulated areas, water or process fluids in pipes, tanks, or valves can freeze during cold weather, leading to blockages, burst pipes, or downtime.
• Temperature Maintenance | Used for many fluids — such as oils, greases, food products, or chemicals — must be kept at specific temperatures to remain pumpable, reactive, or safe.
• Valves & Pumps | Valves and pumps often act as thermal “cold spots” where fluid flow slows or gets obstructed.
