A back-pull-out chemical process pump to ISO 5199 for acids, caustic solutions, amines, solvents, ammonia and other corrosive media in chemical, food and pharmaceutical plants. Its hydraulic range goes beyond ISO 2858 – up to a 500 mm impeller – while keeping the standard dimensions, so it fits existing installations.
A heating or cooling jacket can be fitted on the seal chamber to keep the mechanical seal in its ideal temperature range and to limit heat transfer to the bearings. The bearing arrangement follows API 610 practice with back-to-back angular contact bearings, giving higher load capacity than conventional chemical pumps.
Single or double mechanical seals, cartridge seals or soft packing can be specified. The split dovetail gland makes packing replacement easy. An integral diaphragm spacer coupling allows the rotor to be removed without moving the motor.
Wetted parts in stainless steel or duplex stainless steel 1.4460 for aggressive media. Flanges to PN16 as standard; ANSI-type flanges on request.
