The most versatile liquid ring vacuum pump in the range: single-stage, single-acting, with axial gas inlet and outlet, available in 22 sizes from 2.7 to 440 m³/min. It handles saturated, dusty and condensable gases and is used from power-plant condensers to chemical reactors.
A flexible valve plate at the discharge port adapts the exhaust angle automatically, so the pump runs efficiently at any suction pressure without over-compression. An automatic drain valve sets the starting liquid level and prevents overload at start-up.
Graduated impeller end faces and an improved shroud ring reduce sensitivity to dust and to scale from the service water. With an anti-cavitation device, operation at high vacuum is smooth and quiet.
From standard cast iron and carbon steel to stainless grades, duplex, titanium and Hastelloy; large pumps can be coated with SEBF ceramic polymer or rubber-lined for corrosion resistance at lower cost. With a heat exchanger the service liquid runs in a closed loop.
About 33 mbar absolute with the high-vacuum version; lower with an atmospheric air ejector.
