This single-stage end-suction process pump is designed to API 610 (OH2) and API 682 for the heavy-duty services of refineries and petrochemical plants. It moves hot, cryogenic, high-pressure, flammable, toxic, crystallising and corrosive liquids, from -70 °C to +450 °C.
The radially split double-volute casing is centreline mounted with axial suction and radial discharge. It is rated 4.0 MPa (5.0 MPa with ANSI flanges) and hydrotested at 7.5 MPa. A short overhang and a large-diameter shaft reduce shaft deflection at the seal faces.
Wetted parts are available in carbon steel, 12 % chromium steel, austenitic stainless steel and duplex stainless steel. The seal chamber accepts API 682 single, double and tandem seals with the matching flush plans. A diaphragm spacer coupling and a fabricated steel baseplate with drip pan are standard.
Large oil reservoirs with constant-level oilers and an oil cooler keep the bearings cool, and the bearing housing is prepared for temperature and vibration monitoring.
