Light, air-filled snack bags are difficult to pack automatically. This robotic case packer picks the bags gently and places them in the case in the required pattern – standing, lying or interleaved – and then closes the case.
The robot gripper is designed for air-filled bags, so crisps and fragile products are not damaged. Packing patterns can be changed in the recipe.
The cell can include case erecting and closing with hot melt or tape, and can be combined with a palletiser. It takes bags from a continuous VFFS machine or high-speed bagging machine.
Yes. Standing, lying and interleaved patterns are possible and stored as recipes.
Yes. We quote it together with the bagging machine, weigher or doser, elevators, platform and outfeed conveyors, all from the same manufacturer, so the controls and dimensions match.
The product and its bulk density, the bag type and size, the fill weight, the required bags per minute, the film type and the space available. A photo of the bag you want is very helpful.
