Product Overview

When the structure of a tower has reached the end of its life – rotten wood, corroded steel, damaged concrete – a replacement on the existing basin is often the fastest and most economical solution. The old tower is dismantled and a new FRP structure with new components is erected in its place.

Fast execution

Careful preparation and prefabrication keep the shutdown short. In one reference project, a crossflow FRP tower was replaced in about 42 days.

Better than before

The new tower uses corrosion-free FRP members, modern fill, low-drift eliminators and efficient fans, so capacity and efficiency usually improve over the original design.

Frequently asked questions

Can the existing basin be re-used?

Usually yes, after an inspection. Re-using the basin saves civil works and time.

What information do you need for a quotation?

The tower make and model or cell size, photos of the nameplate and the existing part, dimensions and quantities. For new towers and upgrades: water flow, hot and cold water temperatures, wet-bulb temperature, water quality and site location.
