Stand-up pouches are usually bought pre-made, which is expensive. This vertical machine forms doypack pouches directly from a reel of film, fills and seals them, so you get the shelf appeal of a stand-up pouch at roll-stock film costs.
The machine forms the bottom gusset, the side seals and the top seal in one cycle. The pouch stands on the shelf and offers a large printed surface for branding, which suits premium snacks, nuts, dried fruit, coffee and pet treats.
With a footprint of 1500 × 2100 mm and a height of 2140 mm, the machine fits into existing lines. It can be fed by a multihead weigher, a linear weigher or a screw doser for powders.
Reel film costs much less than pre-made pouches, and the machine forms, fills and seals in one step.
