This machine combines a vertical form fill seal unit with a rotary carousel to produce brick-shaped square packages with a folded top – the classic pack for rice, pulses, sugar and ground coffee. The pack is compact, stable on the shelf and easy to palletise.
The vertical unit forms and fills the bag, then the carousel moves it through compacting stations that settle the product and folding stations that close the top into a square shape. The result is a firm, rectangular pack.
Square packs use shelf and case space better than pillow bags and resist damage in transport. The machine is fed by a cup doser or weigher for granules or an auger doser for powders. A standalone carousel version is also available.
