The multihead weigher is the standard doser for fast, accurate weighing of irregular and fragile products. It weighs small portions in many heads at once and combines the heads whose sum is closest to the target weight, giving high speed with minimal giveaway.
Because several combinations are calculated in every cycle, the weigher keeps pace with high-speed bagging machines while staying close to the target weight. Less giveaway quickly pays back the investment.
The weigher is built in AISI 304 stainless steel, with buckets that can be removed without tools for cleaning. Versions are available for sticky, frozen and fragile products.
It is mounted on a stainless steel platform above a vertical packaging machine and fed by a bucket elevator or belt elevator.
It depends on the speed, the target weight and the product. Typical weighers have 10 or 14 heads; we select the model with your data.
